Our Community

Dukesgate Academy has its roots as a community primary school and the Academy is firmly committed to continuing in this tradition. Many of our governors have key roles within the Little Hulton Area and some of our families have been involved with the school for several generations.

The children visit residents of local sheltered housing to take Harvest Parcels or sing Christmas Carols at appropriate times of year. We visit Cleggs Lane Methodist Church to take part in interactive workshops such as Experience Harvest, Experience Christmas and Experience Easter.
