There are a variety of free extra-curricular clubs, which usually change termly. Sports’ clubs are run by qualified sports’ coaches every night of the week. These include Basketball, Football, Cricket, Athletics, Team Games, Multi Sports, Gymnastics & Street Dance.
The school tries to enter at least one sporting competition every half term. We have reached the finals of the Salford Basketball competition each year since 2013. We also have a newly formed football squad which plays at Salford Sports’ Village in a mini-league every few weeks. The children are always accompanied by school staff in addition to the trained coaches for any off-site events.
Learning Crew, Art and Craft, Homework & Booster, Choir, Rug Making, Board Games & ICT clubs take place on other nights. We aim for all children to access at least one sporting club and one other over the course of the year.
Children in Y5 and Y6 may walk home from club unaccompanied providing they have completed and returned a permission slip to school. They MAY NOT take younger siblings though.
